8. Sevres Urn (French, L. Tisserand, 19th Century) Magnificent 19th century Sevres porcelain and bronze mounted urn. The egg-shaped porcelain body has a detailed hand-painted depiction of two lovers being approached by Cupid. It is signed, L. Tisserand. The urn also has deep cobalt blue and gilded hand-pained decoration over the entire urn. The bronze mounts include, a pinecone-shaped final, open handles each with a relief portrait of a beautiful woman and a square base with scrolled feet. Size: Height: 28 1/2 inches.
