19th century portrait of the Virgin Mary. This is a traditional image of the Virgin wearing a draped blue robe at prayer with an illuminated halo emitting light from behind her. Medium: Oil on canvas. Framed size: 14 3/4 inches x 16 inches. The original painting by Sassoferrato was completed in 1685. It is currently held in the Galleria Degli Uffizi, Florence, Italy.
