Louis XIV Style Commode (French, 19th Century) A Louis XIV style ebony and satinwood-inlaid gilt-bronze mounted commode, the rectangular black and white marble top above the bombe from case fitted with two pairs of drawers, the sides applied with bronze female masks and C-scrolls, the front with stylized shells and foliage, raised on cabriole legs headed by female busts and ending in paw feet. Height: 33 1/4 inches x Width: 55 1/2 inches x Depth 24 3/4 inches.
