4. German Silver
(19th Century)

Description: One five-light silver candelabra with pierced scrolling arms each ending in a candle cup and bobeche, each decorated with a fine egg and dart motif; the center cup is raised by a small figural putto seated on a bobeche over a figural base consisting of a partially clad woman with her arms raised; the figure stands on a square base with egg and dart decor along the edges, raised on small paw feet
Origin: Germany
20 inches in height; the square base measures 6 3/4 inches x 6 3/4 inches
Markings: Marked with the number "800" on the underside
